Pathology Specimen Radiography System

Designed with the imaging needs of the pathologist in mind.

The compact x-ray cabinet can be placed on the lab bench top, giving the team immediate and routine access to high-resolution imaging. This improves lab work-flow and results in faster report generation.

The large 23 x 29cm CMOS detector accommodates a broad range of specimens without sacrificing the resolution (up to 40+lp/mm) required to identify the smallest micro-calcifications.

No specialised x-ray knowledge needed

The PathVision system features one button operation and laser centering guide and transparent specimen window to ensure proper specimen alignment. Single click calibration with auto object detect allows for simple error-free calibration.

Certified safe for public use

PathVision requires no additional x-ray shielding and plugs into any standard A/C outlet.

Infection Control

Stainless steel inner chamber is designed for easy cleaning and sterilisation.

Optimal image quality

Image processing software including peripheral equalization and calcification enhancement, and Automatic Exposure Control (AEC) optimised for a variety of pathology specimens, provides optimal image quality. Manual exposure settings are also available and images are instantly displayed on the 24" high resolution 3.7MP monitor (included).

Accurate measurements at any level

Magnification shelf with field of view guides and automatic position detection provides for up to 6X geometric magnification.

Easy access to modality work list

Multiple annotated images can be sent to PACS store and printed at the touch of a button with DICOM compliant software. PathVision also includes remote diagnostics and support over the web.
